Prokupac Day 2021 is celebrated with a series of events in wine shops, wineries and restaurants around the wine world.
Restaurants, bars, wine shops... Prokupac is celebrated all over Serbia, during Prokupac Day or during the entire Prokupac Week.
LIST OF RETAIL OUTLETS WHERE PROKUPAC DAY IS CELEBRATEDThe central celebration of Prokupac Day is scheduled for October 14th in Beton Hall (Promenada Event Center) in Belgrade. 30 selected wineries with Prokupac from all wine regions of Serbia will participate.
The wine salon starts at 4 p.m. Tickets at the price of 1000 dinars can be purchased at the entrance on the day of the event.
The idea of Prokupac Salon is to get acquainted with all available Prokupac wines from Serbia, as well as to compare their styles, climate and winemakers' philosophy, but it's also an opportunity to learn more about Prokupac and the path that goes from vineyards to a bottled wine.
The locals from Župa will run together with their guests to mark the start of International Prokupac Day celebrations during the 5th. edition of Župa Wine Race, which will be held on Saturday, October 9th, 2021, starting at 11 am in front of the Museum of Viticulture and Enology, and the finish line will be in downtown Aleksandrovac near the wine fountain.
Length of trails: 21km and 13km, through Župa's landscapes dominated by vineyards of Prokupac and Tajmanika, and with refreshments offered in Župa's wineries
Prokupac Caravan, Sunday, October 10th, 2021: The event starts at 4 pm on the plateau in front of the Museum of Viticulture and Enology, and the winemakers of Župa will present the best Prokupac wines of this region. Admission is free.
On Saturday, October 9th, at 4 pm, winemakers from Toplica region will proudly present their Prokupac wines in downtown area of Prokuplje, Hall of the Cultural Center. Admission is free, subject to current epidemiological measures.
On Tuesday, October 12th, at 4 pm, winemakers from Šumadija and central Serbia will present their Prokupac wines in the Wine & Brandy Hub in Kragujevac (Karađorđeva 36-38). Admission is free for all visitors, while respecting the currently valid epidemiological measures.
For the first time in Prokuplje, we will showcase Prokupac from wineries located in Toplica region, at the Cultural Center „Radivoj Uvalić Bata“ starting from 16h.
Entrance free of charge!
More than 30 wineries from Župa, accompanied with extensive program of side-events will welcome visitors at the plateau in front of Viticulture and Enology Museum in Aleksandrovac starting at 16h!
Prokupac wines from Šumadija will be presented at the Wine & Brandy Hub in Kragujevac.
In addition to excellent wines, you will also enjoy vinorelle artwork painted with Prokupac!

Selection of the best Prokupac wines of Serbia, well-known wineries and some newcomers, premiere wines, new vintages and great wines in downtown area of Belgrade, in Beton Hala!
